 Know your hair type and wash only when it is required. Daily washing can strip off the natural oils from your scalp and leave it dry, even if you have oily hair. If your hair is dry, then wash no more than twice a week. For oily hair, you can go for an alternate day washing routine or daily if it feels greasy enough. If you have normal hair, well, you can indulge in a wash every other day
or every three days.


 Always condition post wash. It’s a myth if you thought conditioners are only meant for dry hair. Because, washing opens up the hair follicles and you must seal them back with their natural moisture using a gentle conditioner. If your hair is dry, opt for a weekly (or bi-weekly) conditioning treatment.


 Once your hair is clean and nourished, let it dry naturally. Of course you can style them when needed, but when not, leave it alone to keep the moisture intact.


 Indulge in a regular oil massage. Naturally extracted oils are like nutrition boost to your hair and scalp. A deep conditioning massage with a rich hair oil increases blood flow to your scalp, helping in hair growth.


 Besides the topical treatments, pay attention to your diet and lifestyle. Indulge in food rich in Omega-3 like fish, nuts, seed-bases oils, proteins and folic acid.
